Tegan Taylor Obituary – This past weekend we lost an earth angel, Tegan Taylor. Even though you’ve only been in our lives for the past 4 1/2 years, it feels like we’ve known you a lifetime coz we crammed so much in within that time. As I sit here, I’m really struggling to come to terms with what has happened and that you’re no longer with us. I wish it wasn’t real, I’m absolutely devastated and heartbroken, Tears filling my eyes, running down my cheeks now as I write this, thinking of you and the good times we’ve shared, whether it was taking you to your very 1st AFL game, or earlier this year going to your very 1st car show at Hanging Rock.
We’re also going to miss your quirkiness, like taking your shoes off and sitting in the middle of our lounge room on the cold floorboards when there was a perfectly good sofa right there or you’d sit on the sofa with your legs crossed and toes curled up! YOU WEIRDO! Or when so many times we came into the kitchen to find you doing the dishes when we told you not to!
Coming to Jakes footy game on a cold Sunday and bringing a thermos of hot coffee, and visiting with Katana and her digging up our garden to bury the bones we gave her to munch on! But that’s just who you were, always putting others before yourself, a carer in life and with your work and someone that never judged anyone. The kindest, selfless and giving person who is universally loved.
