Dahkari A. Wilson Obituary, – Investigations are ongoing following the fatal shootings that occurred in Talladega over the weekend, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was a 17-year-old boy.
Shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, authorities responded to a call reporting two individuals shot at 1620 Old Shocco Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Citizen’s Baptist Medical Center via ambulance. Later that morning, it was confirmed that the male victim, identified as 34-year-old Dahkari A. Wilson, had succumbed to his injuries.
Subsequently, at 11:32 a.m., police were called to Sunrise apartments where they found the 17-year-old victim who had been shot. Despite receiving aid from patrol officers, the teenager passed away at the scene. The authorities have not disclosed his identity.
