Jason Witt Obituary: Jason Witt of Iowa City has sadly passed away. Jason was in a relationship with Christine Polton, who works at Perfectly Paparazzi-Christine Polton, Independent Consultant 21602. He was a tobacco harm reduction advocate and a trusted friend to many. His daughters, grandsons, siblings, family, friends, and coworkers all felt his warmth of affection.
Most importantly, he had a particular place in his heart for the Steelers, his “best friend.” Jase was a source of kindness and strength, more than just a friend. His capacity to make everyone feel unique was unmatched, and his love for those around him was unconditional. He left a lasting impression on his loved ones by treating them with the utmost respect and commitment.
He loved his daughters dearly, treating them as though they were his own. Jase was always willing to lend a helping hand or a sympathetic ear, and his dedication to his friends and family was visible in all facets of his life. People who knew Jason will always carry his memory close to their hearts. His friends and family will host a plethora of events in his honor, such as motorcycle trips, scream-inducing radio songs, and watching Niners and Hawkeye football games. Every second spent with Jason will be treasured and warmly recalled.
Tributes
”I didn’t know Jason Witt personally, but man did we have some good ass conversations that always seemed to steer away from vaping…..Just a Down to earth man who always seemed to mention his family and his girls no matter what we were talking about. I could tell his heart was huge and he wore it dead smack on his sleeve.” Dave Dur
”Jason Witt I have no words man. I literally just learned of your passing. From the daily banter of vaping, to just “hey man just checking in”. You are the friend I never asked for and one of the best customers a business owner could ask for. I can’t believe I’m typing this out. I really hope you fly hi man. And keep a cold one waiting for me when I join.” Demitri Lazarev
”Thank you Jason Witt. Thank you for loving all of us, thank you for loving my daughter like she was your own. We cannot ever forget you and the hole that is left will be filled with things in your memory the rest of our short time here on Earth. Every Niners game, every Hawkeye football game, every motorcycle ride, every time I hear any hair banger on the radio, I’ll be thinking of you friend.” Andrea Prymek
