Dejuan Hooker,Damarius Underwood Obituary, – The two men found dead in a vehicle last week on Hoover Road near Cleverly Road have been identified by the coroner. On Thursday, July 18, officers responded to a shooting scene on Cleverly Road, where they found one man with gunshot wounds who was taken to the hospital.
While at the scene, officers discovered a vehicle crashed into a nearby home. Inside the vehicle, Damarius Underwood, 18, and Dejuan Hooker, 25, were found. Dayton Police Sgt. Creigee Coleman stated that there are currently no suspects in the case and urged any witnesses to come forward to assist with the investigation. The Homicide Unit of the Dayton Police is actively investigating the incident and is asking anyone with information or security footage to contact them at 937-333-COPS.
