Legendary songwriter and Moby Grape lead guitarist Jerry Miller has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 21st July 2024 at the age of 81 surrounded by his beloved family. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that said “Very saddened to hear our local legend, Jerry Miller, passed away today. Jerry was the guitarist in the legendary 1960s band, Moby Grape, and rated in the top 100 guitarists of all time. Jerry never quit playing our local venues.” The cause of his death has not been released.
