We regret to inform you that on Thursday, Deacon Paul Ranney unexpectedly passed away from a protracted illness. For many years, he has diligently served the parishes of St. Joseph and St. Mary, and his compassion for our churches will always be remembered by all of us.
We cordially invite everyone to the funeral, which will take place in St. Joseph Church this Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Father Barr is also coming back for the service. I appreciate all of your kind prayers at this really trying time. We extend our sincere sympathies to the Deacon’s friends, family, and the numerous people whose lives were impacted by his service.

Tanique Taylor Evans departed unexpectedly and went to live with God on Friday, July 12, 2024. She worked for H-E-B as the Area Community Coordinator for Missouri City and as the Senior Coordinator for Diversity and Inclusion and Supplier Diversity.
She was a major partner and sponsor for nearly all of the City of Missouri City’s events, and she did a great deal for the community. I only started to know her in 2020, therefore I shall miss you, Tanique, when you smile at all of us at every city event.
You touched so many people in such a short period of time, but I find solace in the knowledge that I shall see you again, smiling so gorgeously. Never say goodbye—just see you later.
