Djifenson Dorilus Obituary, – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision near Bridgeville that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man from Maryland. The man who lost his life in the accident has been identified as Djifenson Dorilus from Salisbury, Maryland.
According to the police, Dorilus was driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe in the wrong direction on Sussex Highway (Route 13) just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday. He was traveling south in a northbound lane when he encountered a 46-year-old man from Millsboro who was driving north in a 2017 Dodge Durango.
Both vehicles were approaching each other in the left lane of the highway, and in an attempt to avoid the collision, the Dodge driver moved into the right lane. However, Dorilus also moved into the right lane, resulting in a crash that caused the Hyundai to overturn onto its roof. Dorilus was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and unfortunately passed away on Thursday. The driver of the Dodge was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
