Daniel John Jarrell Obituary, Victim of fatal shooting on Pisgah Road identified; Office investigating

Daniel John Jarrell Obituary,  – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man has been accused of murder for the death of a man he resided with. Law enforcement officials were called to Pisgah Road in Asheboro on the morning of Friday, July 19, where they discovered the victim, Daniel John Jarrell, who had been shot. The suspect, Joshua Eric Sanders, was also present at the scene. Sanders was taken into custody by Randolph County deputies and charged with first-degree murder. Both the victim and the suspect were residents of the same household. The incident is currently being investigated. Sanders was remanded without bond and is scheduled to appear in Randolph County District Court on July 22, 2024.
