Samantha Trimpe Obituary, – The Sac County Sheriff’s Office received a call to investigate an overturned vehicle in the North Raccoon River at Hagge Park, located approximately two miles south of Sac City, around 10:18 a.m. on Friday morning. After using a tow truck to retrieve the vehicle, a 2008 red Jeep Cherokee, from the river, officials discovered the body of a deceased woman inside.
The woman has been identified as Samantha Trimpe, a 30-year-old resident of Breda, Iowa. Authorities noted that the tire patterns found at the scene suggested no abrupt braking or change in direction before the vehicle entered the river.
Samantha Trimpe’s body is currently undergoing examination by the Office of the State Medical Examiner, with officials stating that there are no indications of foul play at this point. Assisting the Sac County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation were the Sac City Police Department, Sac City Fire Department, Sac County EMS, and the Sac County Medical Examiner Investigator.
