Brandon P. Hembree Death: Brandon P. Hembree passed away surrounded by his family on July 2, 2024, at his home in Grass Valley, CA. In his true spirit, he ferociously fought stage IV cancer for several months preceding his untimely death, demonstrating his remarkable strength and resilience.
Memorial Services
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 27th, at 10 am at Hooper & Weaver in Nevada City, followed by a reception at The Miners Foundry Cultural Center at 12:30 pm. Family, friends, and all who knew Brandon are invited to celebrate his life and share their memories.
Early Life and Education
Brandon was born on April 16, 1981, in Gilroy, CA, to Tammy Woodard. He spent much of his childhood in Alameda, CA, where he made lifelong friends and created cherished memories. He later moved to Foresthill, CA, where he completed junior high and went on to graduate from Placer High School.
Passion for the Automotive World
Before graduating high school, Brandon started working at American Body and Frame in Auburn, CA, through the ROP program. This experience sparked his passion for the automotive world, where he thrived and excelled. Over the next ten years, Brandon climbed the ranks to become the lead painter, demonstrating his skill, dedication, and love for the craft.
Family Life
In 2005, Brandon married the love of his life, Lorin Hembree. Together, they purchased their first home and relocated to Grass Valley, CA. There, they began their family, welcoming daughter Taylor and son Logan. Brandon’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
