His warmth and friendship extended to many, including close companions Boydo and Rab.

A funeral service to honor Cookie’s life will take place on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at 11:45 am at Willowfield Parish Church, located at 149 My Lady’s Road, Belfast, BT6 8FE. Following the service, a committal will be held at Roselawn Cemetery. The family kindly requests no flowers, with donations instead directed to Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke. Contributions can be made via cheques payable to the charity and sent to Willowfield Private Funeral Home, 440 Woodstock Road, Cregagh, BT6 9DR.
