Munroe was traveling westbound on Little Cottonwood Canyon Road when he lost control while negotiating a turn. This loss of control led to a devastating head-on collision with an eastbound vehicle.
The impact of the crash resulted in Munroe’s immediate death on scene, marking a tragic end to the evening’s events near the Iron Blosam Hotel at Snowbird. The collision necessitated an extended closure of the road, causing significant disruption in the area.
