Neil Munroe Death – Salt Lake County Sheriff’s deputies reported that the fatal crash occurred shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Friday, July 12. Munroe was traveling westbound on Little Cottonwood Canyon Road when he lost control while negotiating a turn. This loss of control led to a devastating head-on collision with an eastbound vehicle.
The impact of the crash resulted in Munroe’s immediate death on scene, marking a tragic end to the evening’s events near the Iron Blosam Hotel at Snowbird. The collision necessitated an extended closure of the road, causing significant disruption in the area.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
