Tyrese Haynes Found Dead – This evening, a large group of grieving youth are gathered at The Pawleys Island Bakery to pray and lament the passing of their loved one, Tyrese Haynes. Invocations for this community, the family, and loved ones of this unique young guy, who is with his creator in paradise this evening.
Tyrese Haynes, 17, of Murrells Inlet, was found dead on Saturday, July 13, close to Huntington Beach State Park, according to Georgetown County Coroner Chase Ridgeway. Tyrese vanished on Friday, July 12th, close to Litchfield By the Sea while swimming in the water. At MUSC in Charleston, an autopsy is planned. We ask that you remember and pray for the Hayes family.
Five minutes before his body was discovered, I had been speaking with his sister and aunt. When I inquired about what I could do to assist them, his sister said, “Pray that they find my precious baby brother.” She prayed, and God heard. The water was choppy when they first discovered him, but it calmed down quickly and remained that way while they gathered up his family and drove them to Huntington Beach, where he was discovered. May God hold each of them firmly in his arms. What a disaster.
