Michael McClure Obituary – An individual from Idaho passed away after being shoved down on an Amtrak station platform in Winnemucca on Wednesday, according to the Winnemucca Police Department. Jacob Lee Pendleton, 34, from Cincinnati, Ohio, has been taken into custody and is now facing charges of open murder.
The police were summoned to the Amtrak station in Winnemucca to assist a man who was found unconscious on the platform. Upon arrival, they discovered Michael McClure of Caldwell, Idaho on the platform. Witnesses informed the police that another man waiting for a train had pushed McClure down. The police questioned Pendleton about the incident and was subsequently arrested for abusing an elderly person.
McClure was airlifted to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The police stated that his injuries from the fall may have been fatal. Pendleton’s charges were upgraded to open murder, which could include first or second-degree murder or manslaughter.
