Bobby Ray Tates Jr Obituary, – Bryan Police have named the individual who died in a collision on FM 2818 on Wednesday afternoon. According to authorities, 49-year-old Bobby Ray Tates, Jr., a resident of Bryan, was the victim. Reports indicate that Tates was driving a car northbound in the 1800 block of North Harvey Mitchell Parkway when it crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a 2007 Mack truck.
Tates was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The family informed KBTX that Tates had lived in Bryan his entire life. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist the family with expenses related to the funeral.
