Richard David Hendrickson Obituary – The collision occurred at approximately 12:49 p.m. when a tow truck transporting a mini bulldozer heading eastbound crashed into an SUV carrying 57-year-old Richard David Hendrickson and his family, as reported by Utah Highway Patrol.
Tragically, the bulldozer slipped off the truck and landed on the SUV, resulting in fatal injuries to Hendrickson and his daughter, Sally. Hendrickson’s wife and two other children were also present in the vehicle during the accident and sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
Aside from being a father, the 57-year-old was the CEO and president of Lifetime Products, a Utah-based company specializing in outdoor furniture and equipment. Following his untimely death, the company issued a statement expressing deep sorrow:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our CEO and President, Richard David Hendrickson, in a car accident today in Ogden Canyon.”
In addition to his professional endeavors, Richard served as a Stake President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ogden Utah Pleasant Valley Stake.
