Cayler Ellingson Obituary, Victim killed Identified, Charges Filed in Fatal Accident at ND Street Dance

Cayler Ellingson Obituary – The victim of a fatal vehicle-pedestrian crash in McHenry, North Dakota has been identified as 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson of Grace City, North Dakota. The driver, 41-year-old Shannon Brandt of McHenry, North Dakota, is facing criminal charges including Criminal Vehicular Homicide and Leaving the scene of a crash involving a death. The incident occurred at 2:55 a.m. on Sunday following a street dance in McHenry. Ellingson was struck by a Ford Explorer driven by Brandt while walking on Jones Street. Ellingson sustained serious injuries, was taken to Carrington hospital by ambulance, and later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision.
