Matt Berry Obituary – Kentucky authorities are currently looking into an incident where a driver hit a pedestrian with their car on Monday night in Nelson County. Tragically, the pedestrian passed away at the scene. The Kentucky State Police (KSP) arrived at the location near the 4000 block of Louisville Road (US 150) after receiving reports of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian.
The driver of a 2014 KIA Forte was reportedly heading northbound on Louisville Road when the accident occurred. The driver failed to notice the pedestrian, identified as Matt Berry, 23, of Bardstown, walking in the northbound lane.
The KSP officials, along with other agencies like the Nelson Co. Sheriff’s Office, Nelson Co. EMS, and the Nelson Co. Coroner’s Office, responded to the scene to assist. The investigation into the collision is being conducted by reconstructionist Tpr. John Goldsborough.
