Nicholas Smith Obituary – The Fort Campbell soldier who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident over the weekend has been identified as 30-year-old Nicholas Smith, according to the Clarksville Police Department. Smith, an active-duty soldier at Ft. Campbell, was involved in the crash on July 7 at the intersection of Ted Crozier Sr. Boulevard and Weatherly Drive.
The incident took place shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, resulting in the closure of Ted Crozier Sr. Blvd. as investigators processed the scene. Smith was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where he succumbed to his injuries.
