Daniel Southall Obituary, Death; – The Geauga County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that 16-year-old Daniel Southall was the victim of a fatal traffic accident in Trumbull County. The incident occurred when the Honda Accord, carrying Southall and two other teenagers, veered off Ensign Road in Farmington Township, hitting a tree and bursting into flames.
Southall succumbed to his injuries at University Hospital Geauga Medical Center. The driver, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center and later to Akron Children’s Hospital. The other passengers were taken to Metro Health for treatment of potentially life-threatening injuries. The Ohio State Highway Patrol suspects that speed and alcohol played a role in the crash, noting that only the driver was wearing a seat belt.
