Michael Daloise Obituary – Delaware State Police have released the name of the 57-year-old Newark man who was fatally injured in a hit-and-run accident in Ogletown on Friday afternoon. Michael Daloise was reportedly walking north on the right shoulder of Salem Church Road, north of Michaels Lane when a white car swerved onto the shoulder after “losing its lane.”
The driver struck Daloise and then fled the scene. Daloise was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are currently seeking the whereabouts of the vehicle involved. Although the make and model of the car are unknown, police believe there may be damage to the right front side from the impact with Daloise.
