Jeremy Vance Randolph Obituary, – A fatal collision occurred on July 2 at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Highway US 277 near mile marker 580, 24 miles north of Eagle Pass in Maverick County, resulting in the tragic death of a National Guard member. Initial reports from DPS indicate that Jeremy Vance Randolph, a 44-year-old individual from Dallas, was driving a 2019 white Ford van southbound on US 277 when it collided with a 2019 red Ford F-350 truck traveling north.
The F-350 truck veered into the opposite lane after its front left tire blew out. Sadly, Randolph sustained severe injuries and was pronounced deceased at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass. The driver of the F-350 truck and two passengers were transported to Fort Duncan Medical Center in Eagle Pass for medical attention. The DPS Troopers are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
