Vernont Murray Obituary – Long Beach Police are currently looking into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a man on Monday night. The LBPD received a call about a shooting in the 6000 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 9:51 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of Victoria Street and Long Beach Boulevard. Despite their efforts, the victim, identified as 39-year-old Vernont Murray, did not survive.
The suspect had already fled the scene before the police arrived, and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
