Brian Moody Obituary: The tragic incident involving a teenager in Dayton on Saturday night has resulted in the loss of 15-year-old Brian Moody’s life, as confirmed by both police and family members. The officers were responding to an assignment in the Negley Place area when they came across the teen boy in the street. Despite their efforts to approach him, the situation escalated when the teen reportedly brandished a Glock 17, leading to the officers firing their weapons.
Following the incident, the officers provided immediate medical assistance to the teenager before he was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have disclosed that the gun possessed by the teen had a loaded 30-round magazine. As the investigation continues, the Dayton Police Professional Standards Bureau will be conducting a separate administrative inquiry.
