Andrea Campbell Obituary, Coroner identifies woman who died after being hit by semi on I-71

Andrea Campbell Obituary – The woman who was walking in the lanes of Interstate 71 and was struck by a tractor-trailer on Saturday morning has been identified by the coroner’s office as 26-year-old Andrea Campbell. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. near Kennedy Avenue in Columbia Township. The woman, who was wearing dark clothing and had no lights, was transported to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and unfortunately passed away on Sunday. The sheriff’s office reported that no broken down cars were found in the area and it is currently unknown how the woman entered the interstate. The highway was closed for approximately four hours.
