Madelynn Troutt Obituary, – The family of a teenager who tragically lost her life in a wrong-way crash is dedicated to raising funds for a scholarship in her memory. Madelynn Troutt’s family organizes a golf scramble to help fulfill the aspirations she was unable to achieve.
Troutt, a 17-year-old student at Butler High School, had ambitions of pursuing a nursing degree at Bellarmine University. During the fourth annual golf scramble, which was attended by over 120 golfers and volunteers, funds were collected to establish a scholarship in Troutt’s name for those pursuing a similar career path.
Describing her daughter’s personality, Marcie Troutt recalls, “She was spirited, had a touch of attitude, and always radiated positivity with her smile. She was a kind-hearted girl who never judged anyone. She made friends wherever she went, regardless of their background. She was adored by many, and we aim to carry on her legacy in her honor.”
The Troutt family expresses their gratitude for the unwavering support received from the community following Madelynn’s passing. They intend to organize additional fundraising events for the Troutt Scholarship and to establish a foundation in her memory.
