Dominick Mays Obituary, – The individual who was fatally shot on Sightline Drive on June 25th has been positively identified. The North Charleston Police Department arrived at the location, situated off Palmetto Commerce Parkway, at around 7:45 a.m. The Charleston County Coroner’s office has confirmed the victim’s identity as 21-year-old Dominick Mays from Walterboro.
As per the incident report issued on June 26, two Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies administered CPR to Mays, who was discovered with visible gunshot wounds on the ground outside. Tragically, he was declared deceased at the scene by emergency medical personnel. The report also states that North Charleston police gathered statements from witnesses, including employees from Boeing who work in a nearby building. Authorities suspect that the perpetrator fled the scene in a vehicle. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
