Jacoby Willis Obituary – The Caddo Parish Coroner has confirmed the identity of Shreveport’s 35th homicide victim of the year. Jacoby Willis, a 46-year-old from Dallas, was engaged in conversation with an individual at a residence on Bethany Street when multiple gunshots were heard by a family member.
Upon investigation, it was found that Willis had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was unresponsive. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health, where he passed away due to his injuries at 11:59 p.m. Willis was positively identified by the coroner through fingerprint analysis.
The Shreveport police department is currently looking into this tragic incident.
