Nicholas C. Jennings Obituary – The Virginia State Police are currently conducting an investigation into a tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, June 23rd, on I-81 in Botetourt County. The incident involved a 2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle, which was being driven by a passenger and a driver. While traveling northbound on I-81 near mile marker 163, the motorcycle attempted to navigate between two vehicles along the centerline. Unfortunately, it lost control and collided with a 2020 Ram Promaster 3500, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Regrettably, the driver of the Harley Davidson, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas C. Jennings from Moneta, lost his life at the scene of the accident. The passenger on the motorcycle also suffered serious injuries, as reported by the Virginia State Police.
It is worth noting that both individuals on the motorcycle were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. Fortunately, the driver of the truck involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.
