Celina Southerland Obituary – The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of the road rage shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening. The teenage girl, Celina Southerland, was shot in the head but her condition has since improved while in the hospital.
According to BCSO, the suspect fired a shot through the vehicle’s glass window, which passed through a headrest before striking Southerland. The suspect, described as a white man in his early 20s, remains at large.
During the shooting, the victim was a passenger in the vehicle. Witnesses reported that the suspect vehicle was a small white SUV, possibly a Saturn or similar model, fleeing towards Normandy on Normandy Road.
