Bernadette Tashena Johnson Obituary – The woman who was fatally injured while seated in a vehicle on Friday has been identified by authorities as Bernadette Tashena Johnson, aged 42, from Helena. She was discovered at approximately 9:30 p.m. in a white SUV near Prospect Avenue and Washington Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Although she was still breathing, she was unresponsive, according to officials. Despite efforts from the police and firefighters to resuscitate her, Johnson was declared deceased at St. Peter’s Health at 10:02 p.m. on Tuesday, as confirmed by the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s/Coroner’s Office. On Monday, Kenneth William Greene, aged 62 and identified as a former boyfriend, was charged with deliberate homicide in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court. The bond for Greene was established at $750,000 by Lewis and Clark County Justice of the Peace Mark Piskolich.
