Brittany Brown Obituary – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Brittany Brown, 30, who was hit by a vehicle and killed in the Lancaster area. Deputies responded to the incident at 15th Street East and Avenue I around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a sedan traveling west on Avenue I struck a pedestrian walking in the bicycle lane. The pedestrian sustained major trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with uncertainty regarding the involvement of speed and intoxication of the driver.
