Stacey Benge Arrested; – A woman from another state is currently facing a serious criminal charge in Livingston County. Stacey Benge, a 53-year-old resident of Lafayette, Indiana, has been charged with a class one felony for Theft between $100,000 and $500,000.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report regarding a theft or embezzlement at the Salem Children’s Home in rural Flanagan on May 13th. It was alleged that a significant amount of money, potentially amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars, had been taken by a former employee. Court records from Livingston County indicate that Benge is accused of stealing between $100,000 and $500,000. Following an investigation, Benge was apprehended and subsequently transported to the Livingston County Jail.
