Robert Childress Obituary, – Officials have identified a 54-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life on Monday on I-80. According to Utah Highway Patrol officials, the motorcyclist has been identified as Robert Childress from Texas. The incident occurred on Monday morning when three motorcyclists were traveling eastbound on I-80, as stated by officials.
Officials reported that Childress applied the rear brake of his bike to slow down due to traffic, which resulted in him being thrown from his Harley motorcycle and tragically killed. They mentioned that he was wearing a helmet at the time. Childress was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by officials. During the investigation, officials closed eastbound I-80 at 7200 West.
