Andrik Martinez Enriquez Obituary – The man, aged 82, passed away on Monday, eight days after being involved in a collision in the southeast valley, as reported by Metro police. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed by the authorities pending notification of his family, sustained minor injuries in the crash that occurred at S. Lamb Boulevard and E. Hacienda Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on June 16.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office notified Metro police of the man’s death on Monday. The man, who was driving a 2021 Kia Soul that collided with a 1997 Lexus LS 400, was pronounced dead by hospital staff at St. Rose Dominican Hospital. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 19-year-old Andrik Martinez Enriquez, was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center on June 16 with severe injuries. No update on his condition has been provided. According to police, evidence and witness statements revealed that the Kia was heading southbound on Lamb towards a stop sign at Hacienda.
The Kia failed to stop and collided with the Lexus at the intersection. This incident marks the 82nd traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction this year. The collision is currently being investigated by the LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section.
