Julian JuJu Keel Obituary, – Julian “JuJu” Keel’s family is determined to seek justice after his tragic death on June 2. The Strom Law Firm, led by civil rights attorney Bakari Sellers, has been hired by the family to explore all possible avenues, including the option of a lawsuit.
During a graduation party outside Roll-Out Wangz Egg Rollz and Thangz on Colonial Life Boulevard, Keel, an innocent bystander, was fatally shot. The incident involved the firing of more than 50 rounds from at least four different guns. Keel, while attempting to flee, was shot in the upper body and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. On June 7, Keel’s funeral took place, marking a somber farewell to a young life lost too soon.
The family contends that Keel’s death could have been prevented if the venue had implemented proper safety measures. The Strom Law Firm, in a statement, expressed their concern over the repeated negligence of venue owners who prioritize profit over the safety and security of their patrons.
Bakari Sellers stated, “Whether it’s a concert or a graduation party, we consistently witness venue owners disregarding basic safety precautions, putting lives at risk. They prioritize financial gain over the well-being of innocent individuals like Julian Keel. This must change.”
Keel’s family remains committed to cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation into his death. They understand that nothing can fill the void left by Julian’s passing but are determined to hold all those responsible accountable for their actions.
Adrien Lake-Watson, Keel’s mother, expressed her grief, saying, “The loss of Julian has created an irreplaceable void in our lives. However, we will not rest until those responsible are brought to justice. No mother should ever have to bury her child, and we seek justice to prevent other families from enduring the same nightmare we have.”
