Ronnie Gene Mclamore Obituary – The individual who tragically lost his life after being hit by a driver on the north side of the city has now been identified. The medical examiner has confirmed that the man was Ronnie Gene Mclamore, aged 71. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday when a White Honda Pilot struck the pedestrian as he was crossing IH-35 N Access Road at O’Connor Road in a southeast direction.
It is worth noting that there were no crosswalks or pedestrian light signals present at the intersection.
In a positive development, the driver of the vehicle fully cooperated with the police investigation. In order to demonstrate that he was not distracted by his phone at the time of the accident, he willingly provided his text records. The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) has confirmed this information.
Furthermore, the driver exhibited no signs of impairment, leading the SAPD to conclude that there are no criminal elements involved in this case.
