Melanie Ramos-Lopez Obituary, – The woman who tragically lost her life in a jet ski accident on Lake Ontario last weekend has been identified by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office as Melanie Ramos-Lopez, aged 31, from Rochester. The incident occurred when the jet ski she was riding on with another person capsized near the Irondequoit Bay Inlet at around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.
Local authorities, including the MCSO marine unit and U.S. Coast Guard, responded to the scene. Despite efforts to rescue her, Ramos-Lopez was found in critical condition and later passed away at the hospital. Our thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time, as stated by sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Brendan Hurley. The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
