William Young Obituary – An investigation is currently underway regarding a fatal shooting that occurred at a residential complex in Brookhaven. According to Police Chief Kenny Collins, the incident took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon reaching the Pennington Street apartments, law enforcement discovered William Young, 23, suffering from several gunshot injuries. He was immediately transported to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his wounds.
Authorities have identified the suspect as a 14-year-old individual and anticipate his voluntary surrender. Chief Collins informed 3 On Your Side that an altercation had transpired prior to the shooting.
