Angelo Delacruz Calleja Obituary – Five individuals were shot, resulting in one fatality, during an early morning shooting incident, as reported by the Winston-Salem Police Department. The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 12:26 a.m. on Starlight Drive. Responding officers found four victims, identified as Angelo Delacruz Calleja, 18; a 54-year-old woman; a 51-year-old man; and a 31-year-old man, all suffering from gunshot wounds.
Calleja was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Austreberto Marin Figueroa, 43, was later arrested and charged with murder in connection to the incident. The investigation revealed that the shooting was not a random act of violence and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
