Marvel White Obituary – A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening at a park located in the South Side of the city. According to the Chicago police, the shooting took place at approximately 6:38 p.m. in the Englewood neighborhood, specifically in the 6500 block of South Racine Avenue.
The victim, a 16-year-old boy named Marvel White, was engaged in a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual when he was shot in the chest and legs. Authorities swiftly transported him to Comer Children’s Hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead later on.
Marvel White’s family members confirmed his identity and revealed that he was supposed to begin his junior year at Dyett High School in the upcoming fall semester. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and the police are actively investigating the incident.
