Fredrick O. Gordon Obituary, – Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has officially named the individual who lost their life in a car accident on Percival Road on Monday, June 17.
As per Master Trooper Gary Miller of the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), a 2001 Jeep Cherokee heading west on Percival, close to Quail Run apartments, crashed into a 2010 Nissan Maxima that was making a left turn onto Percival from a private driveway at approximately 3:50 p.m.
The driver of the Nissan, Fredrick O. Gordon, aged 38 and from Columbia, passed away due to the injuries sustained. The two passengers in the Nissan were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, while the driver of the Jeep emerged unharmed. Both the SCHP and the Richland County Coroner’s Office are actively investigating this tragic incident.
