Jordan E. Collins Obituary – The man who lost his life in a head-on collision on SR 9 on Thursday morning has been identified by the Huntington County Coroner as Jordan E. Collins, 27, of Huntington. He was a passenger in a Honda Accord driven by his father, Kyle Collins, 55, also of Huntington.
The accident occurred when Collins, driving north on SR 9, crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Equinox driven by Ashlee Russell, 28, of Jonesboro. Jordan Collins was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Both Russell and Kyle Collins were transported to the hospital, and their current conditions remain unknown.
