The victim, identified as 26-year-old Nikita Nicole Walker, was found fatally shot outside a home on the 700 block of New Hill Court at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that a male suspect engaged in a dispute with Walker at the residence, which tragically escalated into the suspect shooting her.
