Jasmine Elizabeth Anderson Obituary – Jasmine Elizabeth Anderson was declared deceased at 5:16 a.m., as stated in a press release by Dorchester County Coroner Paul J. Brouthers. She sustained a single gunshot wound, as confirmed by Dorchester Sheriff information officer Rick Carson. An autopsy has been scheduled for June 21.
Deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office were conducting patrols in the Dorchester Manor area on Ashley Phosphate Road around 2:47 a.m. They heard multiple gunshots but were unable to immediately pinpoint the origin, according to Carson. Subsequently, they received reports of a man injured from a gunshot lying in the middle of Ashley Phosphate Road.
The man informed deputies that the shooting took place at a residence on Dorchester Manor Boulevard. Upon reaching the location, Anderson was discovered inside her home. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Carson confirmed.
The identity of the man discovered shot on Ashley Phosphate Road has not been disclosed, and his current condition remains unknown.
