Barry Vierra,Michelle Berna Obituary – The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified the two victims involved in a tragic shooting incident that occurred over the weekend. The victims have been identified as Barry Vierra, a 59-year-old resident of Reno, and Michelle Berna, a 37-year-old resident of Sun Valley.
According to the Reno police, they received a report of shots fired at approximately 5:22 a.m. on Sunday. The incident took place at the intersection of Wrondel Way and Linden Street, which is located in the vicinity of the Peppermill Resort. Upon arrival, officers discovered Vierra and Berna suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to the hospital, both individuals succumbed to their injuries. The medical examiner has determined that their deaths were a result of homicide.
The Reno police have stated that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public. However, the investigation is still ongoing as authorities work to gather more information and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting
