The body of Dolores Ingram was found in a condominium unit in Northampton Township over the past weekend. Authorities state that Ingram’s son was taken into custody following an altercation with police officers in Washington D.C., during which he allegedly confessed to his mother’s murder.
According to reports, Northampton Township officers were alerted by Washington, D.C. officials to inspect a residence on Beacon Hill Road on Sunday. Upon entering the home, officials discovered Dolores Ingram’s remains, showing signs of severe head trauma. Legal documents reveal that a man named William Ingram, aged 49, was recently arrested in Washington, D.C. for assaulting an officer and damaging a police vehicle.
While detained, Ingram reportedly confessed to the crime, prompting Washington officials to contact Bucks County authorities to investigate the mother’s residence. Upon inspection, officers observed bloodstains on the walls and located the woman’s remains among clothes and household items. Police also claim to possess surveillance footage of Ingram leaving the apartment with a duffel bag.
