Max’s death stunned his friends and family, some of whom spoke about how they had been with him just a few days prior over the last weekend.
As many mourn the passing of this young motocross enthusiast, we reflect on his life and share some beautiful tributes people have left for Max.
Max Soti, Plano Il Motocross Enthusiast Killed in Accident Aged 12, Obituary
Max Soti was born May 3rd, 2012 to his parents Matthew and Lauren Soti in Aurora, IL. He had a big sister, Madison Soti.
The Plano resident grew up with love and care from his parents who nurtured him to be a responsible and respectable young man.
Max had major dreams of becoming a big motocross rider when he grew up and had gotten to work early on that as he was a known avid motocross lover.
Known for his distinctive number 56, Max had already charted a name for himself in the Illinois motocross scene and beyond.
This young prodigy’s journey toward greatness was irrevocably cut shot on the dreaded day of Monday, June 17th, 2024.
Some online reports claim a quad bike/ ATV accident led to the demise of Max Soti however, tributes from his family and friends mention his demise without any confirmation on the cause of death.
Max Lair on Facebook was one of those most shocked over news of Max’s demise having raced him just last weekend to hearing of his death on Monday!
“Last weekend was fun racing with Max Soti sad to hear about how his life was cut so short and Sorry for his family,” he wrote.
Sheila Ann Lewis Tricario also mourned, revealing none of those who knew him would ever be the same due to his demise.
“The neighborhood is so quiet and empty and it seems like the world should stand still…” she said.
One of the most beautiful tributes to Soti was on a tribute page set up by his family on the eighnerfuneralhomes website.
“I am so sorry for your loss. Max was an amazing kid, so funny, and a great motocross rider. Fly high and Rest In Peace Max,” said Jaylynn Mikel.
And Rigo said something similar, praising Max for being a ‘funny and nice’ kid and said the only thing he loved talking about was dirt bikes.
“Fly high Max, you will be missed,” he concluded.
Max Soti was for all intents and purposes a great kid with a bright future but sadly, that has been cut short in a tragic turn of events.
His family has been left devastated and the motocross community has lost a future pillar of the sport.
May he continue riding into the eternal realm and may those he left behind be comforted by his memory.
