Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding a man believed to have been involved in a Northern Westchester homicide.
The Peekskill Police Department is currently searching for Walter F. Bustos-Solis, who they believe was involved in an incident that happened on Monday, June 10, the department announced on Tuesday, June 18.
On the day of the incident, at around 3:40 a.m., Peekskill officers responded to an altercation on the 900 block of Main Street in the city and found a male victim, identified as Carlos Rodriguez, with severe cuts to the lower part of his body.
After officers provided immediate medical care, Rodriguez was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where he later died days later on Sunday, June 16. His age and place of residence were not released.
Peekskill Police detectives later identified the suspect as Bustos-Solis, whose age and place of residence were also not released, and are now working to find him. The department currently believes the homicide was an isolated incident.
