Cory Lockwood Obituary, – The Washington State Patrol has reported that a fatal accident occurred near Lynden, resulting in the death of a man who was ejected from his vehicle. The driver, identified as 32-year-old Cory Lockwood from Omak, was traveling south on the Guide early on Sunday, June 16. As he approached the roundabout at Wiser Lake Road at a high speed, his vehicle veered off the road. Lockwood was thrown from the car upon impact with a tree, causing it to roll down an embankment. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene. It was noted by WSP that Lockwood was not wearing a seatbelt, and they have not confirmed whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
